Primary focus on bulk plastics (PP, PE) and masterbatch manufacturers, with gradual expansion to bulk chemicals and engagement in sales to food industries. Major goal of this Role is to promote and sell the Company’s solutions range to new and existing customers in Plastics, Chemical and Food industries within the Russian Federation, achieving and \ or contributing to achieving both personal sales targets and entire EMEA team targets. Responsibilities:
Conduct market analysis into the industries of responsibility within the region to identify Customers where there is significant profitable demand for the Company’s product ranges. From the results of the market analysis execute a Customer contact plan to promote the Company’s product ranges and solutions in order to generate new enquires and secure profitable business. Prospecting for new Customers, and maintaining contact with existing customers should be a continuing ongoing process. Plan short and long term activities in order to achieve maximum time in face to face situations with existing or new customers. Make Customer visits to proactively promote our technologies and the cost benefits achievable with our solutions, to generate good quality enquiries and increase demand. Prepare and run presentations to help demonstrate technical and commercial benefits of our solutions. Build, develop and maintain strong relationship with specific accounts and major accounts. Follow up all enquiries issued and maximize proposal conversion rates. Prepare detailed enquiry pre-qualifications and develop ‘strategies to win’ based on sound understanding of the Customer’s Technical and Commercial requirements including decision making processes, project timescales, all relevant Financial considerations and Competition. Negotiate both the technical and commercial details of the proposals and close the sale on all enquiries within acceptable company limits, maximizing margins wherever possible. Develop a strong prospect pipeline of interested Customers and potential orders in line with the Company’s growth targets. Proactively and properly use and maintain all record keeping systems (CRM, network folders, other relevant systems) Use CRM proactively making sure that all opportunities are well documented in a manner and level of details required to generate accurate monthly sales forecasts, 12 month rolling forecasts as well as any other sales related reports and forecasts Assist in the creation of business plans and budgets for subsequent years, and once approved, take appropriate actions to deliver the said business plans and budgets. Build up a high level of knowledge in the company’s products and solutions. Build up a high level of knowledge in the Competitors products and solutions in particular their strengths and weaknesses. From this knowledge prepare guidance notes to help the other Sales, Applications and Proposals teams when competing against these companies. Adhere to ISO, Bid to Win and any other relevant group directive policies and procedures. Provide all required administration in a clear, concise and timely manner. Promote good communications internally/externally. Promote ‘team player’ mentality, both personally and in colleagues.
As well as the above key objectives, you will be expected to carry out other duties, which can reasonably be assessed as part of your role. Core Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor degree or higher in engineering Good command of English both verbal and written, willingness to further improve and develop lingual skills Proven and broad contacts in one or all of the focus industries (decision-makers or decision developers in the plastics and chemical industries, technical solution architects and influencers). Willingness to maintain and develop contacts, network significantly and compliantly In-depth knowledge of focus industries processes, instant understanding of SPG products applications in focus industries Daily and practical industrial B2B project equipment sales process experience Excellent interpersonal communications ability Good Time management and organization ability Proactive approach to problem resolution Results driven Good commercial knowledge and negotiation ability Good prospecting and new business generation ability Good existing customer account management Highly mobile and capable to work effectively on the road, willing and available to travel intensively within Russia and abroad
Working Relationships:
Reporting directly to EMEA Original Equipment Regional Sales Director Working with Industry heads and Industry teams, Applications & Proposals Teams, Local and interantional aftermarket and service teams Close co-operation will be required with the Engineering and Commercial departments, with Customers, Suppliers, Agents and Distributors
